2012 Tartan Day at the RBC Heritage
Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Heritage Expo

The 2012 RBC Heritage Tartan Day will be held on Saturday, April 14 from 12 pm – 2 pm in the Heritage Expo located between hole #1 and #9 at Harbour Town Golf Links. The tradition is for all fans and attendees – large and small, young and old, to get decked out in their plaid on Saturday of the tournament and show their true spirit and support for the RBC Heritage.

In an effort to maximize attendees’ participation, a series of activities are planned for fans of all ages on Tartan Day. Each half hour a different event will take place to engage the plaidest patrons and give all participants a chance to win prizes from Willie swag to tickets to the 45th RBC Heritage. Join us Saturday, Apr. 14 clad in plaid and join in the festivities.

11:45am – 12pm: Willie Welcome!
Fans are invited to take a photo with Willie under his grand tartan tent and throne throughout the entire two hours of Tartan Day. Willie’s helpers will be passing out Willie’s social media cards directing fans to retrieve their photos on his Facebook page.

12:30pm – 1pm: Tartan Tots Hole in One Contest
Calling all tartan tots to step up and putt. Kids under age 5 can putt for a chance to make a hole in one. Any child who makes it will receive a concession stand voucher.

1pm – 1:30pm: Fastest Clad in Plaid Contest
Five fans age 16 and up (3 men and 2 women) will have a chance to outfit themselves in a complete plaid outfit. Five piles of plaid clothes will be at your feet. When Willie says go, the person who gets dressed the fastest in the outfit wins an RBC Heritage hat.

1:30pm – 2pm: Best Dressed in Plaid Contest
Every fan who is dressed in plaid, any age, will line up at 1:30 pm to enter in the Best Dressed in Plaid contest. At 2 pm Willie will judge who is best dressed in plaid. The winner will receive two tickets to the 45th Annual RBC Heritage in 2013.

Photos & Trivia
Fan Photos with Willie will be welcome from 12 pm to 2 pm. In between the highlighted activities, Willie will host general trivia for fans. Winners will receive swag.
